I spent over 30 years working in primary education, where I developed a deep passion for helping young learners understand and enjoy the English language. Teaching children aged eight and above, I was always searching for new and engaging ways to bring grammar to life in the classroom.
Some of my most rewarding moments came from seeing pupils’ faces light up when a concept finally made sense. By introducing colour-coded approaches and creative lesson ideas, I found that children not only understood grammar more easily but began to take real pride in their learning.
The enthusiasm and progress I witnessed in my students inspired me to share these methods more widely. This book is the result of that experience, created to support teachers, parents, and children in discovering that grammar can be both accessible and enjoyable.
